• Describe yourself as a teacher. What do you teach? How long have you taught?  Since 1992.  I love teaching Spanish.  I am dynamic.  Passionate.  
• Why did you become a teacher?  Through much encouragement and hard work.  Many good teachers inspired me to follow their example. Some "bad" ones inspired me to avoid certain "bad" teacher behaviors. 
• What's your favorite thing about teaching? Laughter. 
• What are 2 or 3 of the most important things you want students to learn, in general and about your discipline?  That language is a key that permits us to enter through the door of the house of another culture. 
• What do you think makes someone a good teacher?  Kindness. Fairness. Justice. Constant research.  Feedback to students. Sincerity. 
• What's the best way to motivate students to learn?  Laugh at their jokes. Be kind.
